Established in 2020, Black Marlin is proud to be a woman-owned and operated construction company specializing in renovations and new construction projects throughout Florida. Black Marlin’s name stems from our love of the ocean, and just like the fish, we strive to be a rare find among our competitors by offering unmatched service. As a family and community-oriented business, we build with purpose. We started this company as a way to be 100% present with our loved ones while also connecting with and serving our community.
Krystal and Neko Sidwell grew up in the construction industry. While Neko’s family owned an electrical company for 20 years, Krystal’s family owned a roofing company for over 40 years. Six years ago, they used their decades of expertise to branch out on their own and start something that would allow them to be 100% present with friends and family and connect with their community. In 2020, they established Black Marlin Construction LLC. With Krystal as Black Marlin’s licensed contractor, they’re excited to be a women-owned and operated organization in a male-dominated field.
